Mumtaz Qadri

I wonder how many of us, who are openly, emotionally and vehemently speaking for and against the execution of Mumtaz Qadri, truly understand the matter and its implications.

I also wonder, how many of us very vocal muslims have something that we read in a newspapers or heard in a fiery speech by one of those professional so called religious leaders as the sole inspiration behind our strong belief as opposed to researching the case and looking into the allegations and the evidence available to prove those allegations.

I also wonder how many of us highly charged, enthusiastic and passionate Pakistani muslims truly understand the basic morphology of Islam and the place of the Love of the Prophet (PBUH) in it.

I also wonder whether we are really aware of the dynamics of how our Creator wants us to love our Prophet (PBUH), what are the necessary requirements and conditions for this Love and which condition is more important than the other.

I also wonder whether we have read into the examples of such happenings and the way those were handled by the Prophet (PBUH) in the time of a truly Islamic Government as opposed to the time of non-Islamic Government.

I also wonder how many of us can truly see where we are going as opposed to being led by someone, who is then led by maybe a professional interest or a sectarian prejudice.
